Our meetings will continue to be held at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Chevy Chase for the September, October, and November meetings. This location offers discounted parking with validation at the host stand, as well as easy access to the Metrorail (Friendship Heights station). For these meetings, we will continue to offer an open bar happy hour starting at 5:00 pm, followed by the start of our continuing education program and family-style Italian dinner at 6:00 pm.
However, at this time, Maggiano’s has informed us they are planning to move locations in 2026 and do not know when that new establishment will be ready to host guests. Therefore, we will be hosting our January, February and April meetings at Courtyard by Marriott Bethesda Chevy Chase, located at 5520 Wisconsin Ave, Chevy Chase, MD 20815. The meeting will be held in a room on the second floor. There is parking indoors and outdoors, as well. At this time, we believe they will discount our parking to $10. We will still offer a cocktail hour with an open bar from 5-6 pm however, dinner will be a plated pre-fixed meal so please let us know of any dietary restrictions so we can do our best to accommodate. Considering this change in dinner service, we will need a head count one week in advance or you will not be able to have a meal.
Our joint Maimonides/AO all day meeting in March will be at the Bethesda/Pooks Hill Marriott at 5151 Pooks Hill Rd. in Bethesda, MD.
You are invited to join us for our happy hour from 5:00pm to 6:00pm prior to our dinner meetings. The open bar is included with your membership dues.
Our general members are encouraged to invite a dental student for one complimentary dinner meeting each year. And yes, happy hour is also included for them!
